Oh god, for some reason the image of a dealer scribbling "Freih" onto a cup cracked me up.

Thank you for the opportunity, Alydar! But... aren't you a little too early for that taking my money thing? *after the rolls are done* Well, well, well. Good luck is good, but apparently not good enough ... *looks at 10k*.

A note, since it's come up before and since over half of you are relatively new here: Rehearsal Rounds give no advantage to the actual run-throughs, unlike in the actual manga (e.g. the money earned in the Bid Poker rehearsal stayed with the people who won it for the main game). This is just to give you experience, to give me a little playtest, to allow you some trial/error, to start your plotting, and to clear up any misconceptions any of us may have about the rules or how things work. So rest assured that losing in this mock round will do nothing to harm you. Of course, that says the same with winning doing nothing to help you. And so... good luck, as the first Round concludes in... well, 18 hours. Okay, I guess you still have some time. Will there be any accusations, or will everyone remain silent? Only time will tell...

I like how no one noticed (or bothered to bring up) my mistaken date. The round ends on Wednesday, December 19th, 2012 NOT Wednesday, December 18th, 2012. Just in case any of you noticed that or was confused.

Round 1 - Accusation Phase
Alydar sits around, waiting. And waiting. Finally, a buzzer sounds, and he informs the players that their consideration period has ended! It's time to accuse!
10k just sits there, smug with his victory. He doesn't accuse anyone.
Iain7 sits there, dejected, knowing he'll lose but content with his placement. For now. He doesn't accuse anyone.
Cyrus sits there, fuming. "That 10k! I knew he'd pull something like this! And Moritaka... he's trying to pull something with his measly Point 3. He's flying under the radar! Guys, we need to bring them to justice!"
Freih jumps up at this to exclaim, "You're right! Both of them are liars, rigging their dice! However... you're a liar too. I'm calling your bluff. Let's see who's winning this round when all's said and done!"
Moritaka just sits there, dumbstruck that they'd even think to accuse him!
Alydar inspects the dice, as requested. And Alydar bursts out laughing. "Ahahahahahahahahahaha! Ahahaha! Ahah! Hahahaha! Ha... Well, um, you see... The funny thing about luck is... I have the most random. And it just seems to rub off, I guess? Mr. 10k here is using perfectly fair dice, despite his amazing luck to get a triple! Congratulations to him, but it appears he stays in the lead... As for Moritaka, his dice aren't rigged either, so both of you are penalized 6 Antes. But that's not all! Cyrus, you accuser, your dice were indeed rigged! Give 2 Antes to Freih and be gone with you! Well... I guess you can stay for the next round. Just don't cheat! Ahahahahaha!"
Alydar places the shakers in preparation for the next sets of dice...
Accusations Cyrus falsely accuses 10k of rigging his dice. Cyrus pays 3 Antes to 10k. Cyrus falsely accuses Moritaka of rigging his dice. Cyrus pays 3 Antes to Moritaka. Freih falsely accuses 10k of rigging his dice. Freih pays 3 Antes to 10k. Freih correctly accuses Cyrus of rigging his dice. Freih takes 2 Antes from Cyrus. Freih falsely accuses Moritaka of rigging his dice. Freih pays 3 Antes to Moritaka.
With lucky Triple-4s, 10k is the winner! 10k collects 2 Antes from Iain7, Cyrus, Moritaka, and Freih.
Winnings 1st place - 10k: 14 Antes 2nd place - Moritaka: 4 Antes 3rd place - Iain7: -2 Antes 4th place - Freih: -6 Antes 5th place - Cyrus: -10 Antes
Round 2 begins now with a Rolling Phase! Please send in your decision as to whether or not you rig your rolls! Remember, in this round the Ante profits and costs are doubled! You can make it or break it with this round! ...or you can wait for the next. Whatever you choose, choose wisely. 10k may have gained a big lead, but that can fall in a flash! Remember, his winnings only amount to slightly more than a single false accusation Round 3! Sometimes you get lucky, and sometimes it's at an inopportune time... Despite the looks of it, it's still anyone's game! Ahahaha!
You all have 24 hours from this post to send in your decisions by PM to me. This round ends at 8:01 pm GMT on Thursday, December 20th, 2012. Good luck!

Heh.
My hand was so obviously rigged, it wrapped straight back into honest territory. Time to go rig my "No Hands".

Round 2 - Rolling PhaseAlydar takes the dice from each player and puts them in their respective cups. Again, he takes them from the left and goes right, rolling each set of dice as he goes. First is 10k, rolling a 2... then a... 2. No, he couldn't do it again, could he? Oh, good, it's only a 4. "Congratulations on a Point 4! You just couldn't pull ahead with another triplet, but I guess you can't be lucky all the time! Ahahaha!" Next comes Iain7, rolling first... a 4... then a 3. What is this, another No Hand? No, the next is... a 4. "Getting out of the No Hand territory, we have Iain7 with a Point 3! Congratulations on better luck than before, but you fall short behind 10k, yet again. Tough luck..." Third is Cyrus, the cheater of last round. He rolls... 4. Then the next stops at a 6... Finally... the third die lands on a 1. "Ooh, it seems your luck just isn't up to par. With a No Hand, you'll have to try again next time as you fall to last place in dice hands as well as in Antes." Next-to-last is Moritaka. He rolls, and it comes up as... 5, 3, 3. No suspense here, he pulls out with an amazing roll! "It seems Moritaka has pulled ahead to first place! No content with being behind in Antes, his dice grant him the lucky roll of Point 5, bringing him ahead of 10k into first!" Finally, Freih is rolled for. The first die lands on 6. Then another 6... could he pull out a miraculous come-from-behind win? ...no, the last is only a 3. "So close, and yet so far... With a Point 3, you fall into 3rd place, tied with Iain7. Better luck next time?" Player

Man, here I was hoping some of 10k's luck would rub off on me, but I got stuck with Iain7's. Or maybe I'm just taking 10k's expert advice and rigging myself a "No Hand?"

Once a cheater, always a cheater. You just messed up the dice. There's no need to waste time on checking that, of course, but feel free to accuse yourself if you think otherwise.

I accuse 10k. Make sure somebody else accuses the others so that nobody flies under the radar.

Freih, how could you? 10k's legit! The only reason I went so accuse happy the first round was because I wanted to play recklessly at least ONCE. Shame. I'm tempted to accuse you, Freih, just for impugning the honor of this Casino's number one victor!

Round 2 - Accusation Phase
Alydar sits and waits... and waits... the players all know what he's waiting for, but no one obliges... until...
Freih jumps up; he can't take the silence anymore. "I know 10k cheated! He's thinking we're scared to accuse him from last time! Well... he's wrong! He's a bloody cheater!" Counter to that, 10k... no, wait, it's Cyrus to 10k's rescue! "Hey, don't talk to this upstanding young character like that! He's the pride and joy of the Casino! Why, maybe you're cheating? Why, I think you are!"
And so, Alydar inspects those dice. Shaking his head, he informs the players that neither 10k nor Freih cheated. They were just (sort of) lucky.
Alydar places the shakers in preparation for the final sets of dice...
Accusations Cyrus falsely accuses Freih of rigging his dice. Cyrus pays 6 Antes to Freih. Freih falsely accuses 10k of rigging his dice. Freih pays 6 Antes to 10k.
With his Point 5, Moritaka is the winner! Moritaka collects 2 Antes from 10k, Iain7, Cyrus, and Freih.
Winnings 1st place - 10k: 18 Antes 2nd place - Moritaka: 12 Antes 3rd place - Iain7: -4 Antes 4th place - Freih: -8 Antes 5th place - Cyrus: -18 Antes
Errands... they take time.
Round 3 begins now with a Rolling Phase! Please send in your decision as to whether or not you rig your rolls! Remember, in this round the Ante profits and costs are doubled once more! You can and must make it or break it with this round! Whatever you choose, choose wisely. 10k still has his lead, but Moritaka's quickly catching up! Remember, this round will gain you the most, so use it to your advantage! Will you risk it to Fly Under the Radar? Or will you take what you roll?
You all have 24 hours from this post to send in your decisions by PM to me. This round ends at 9:35 pm GMT on Saturday, December 22nd, 2012. Good luck!
