Scores: FINAL
WINNER: 1. Cyrus: $336.87 (+160)
2. 10k: $255 (-60)
3. Moritaka: $60 (+20)
4. Iain7: $78.62 (-120)
5. Freih: $0
Current Results: Level 3-4 ($20): Accusation Phase (Final Phase)
Rigged Cee-lo
Scenario: In a corner of the Casino, you see a bunch of players gathered around. They are rolling dice; some are praying to the divine, others are screaming at the bowl. The Dealer announces the result, and you hear the whining of the losers and cheering of the winners as huge sums of cash trade hands. In the next instant, one of the players reaches his hand into the bowl and grabs the dice.
“Cheater!” he shouts. “Nobody rolls 6-6-6 three times in a row!”
“These are legit dice!” screams another player. He tackles the other player and starts trying to prying them from his hand, desperate to get the dice out. However, the Dealer pushes them both aside.
“May I see the dice?” he asks. The first player complies with a grin on his face, and the Dealer studies the dice. “Hmm...these dice are in fact, legitimate.”
“No way!” shouts the first player.
"These were my uncle's lucky dice!" The second player's face was beet red. "How do you plan on compensating me?"
The first player made a run for it, but then exploded.
Objective: Manufacture your own luck and roll the best hand!
Number of Players: The closest to 6 possible; more than 6 registrants get split into two groups
Entry Fee: 5 poker chips
Prize: TBA; prizes (in poker chips) will be determined by the following structure:
6: (20-7-3-0-0-0)
5: (17-5-3-0-0)
4: (15-5-0-0)
3: (12-3-0)
So first in a six-player game gets 20 poker chips, second gets 7 poker chips, and so on; so it pays to be first, but the top half at least gets something for their efforts…
Rigged Cee-lo system:
Cee-lo is a point dice game dependent on absolute luck. You roll 3 dice to get a hand. In our variation, you have one chance to make your hand. Also in this variation, we will use the following ranking from best to worst:
1. Triples (6-6-6 highest)
2. 4-5-6 or 1-2-3 (4-5-6 higher)
3. Points (6 highest; point is the single number not of a pair, so 4-4-3 is Point 3)
4. No Hand
Payout schedule:
1. 1-2-3 or better: Winner collects 2 antes from all
2. Points: Winner collects 1 ante from all.
3. No Hand: Player can only collect antes via accusations
Winning ties with Point 1 or better result in the pot being split between the winners; losers only pay as if there was one winner. Fractions that cannot be collected are given to the LGT.
Because some of you may risk bankruptcy later in the game, antes are done as a net calculation and then paid out in the order which generates the most survivors.
Example:
Alice rolls Point 6, Bob rolls 1-2-3, Carol rolls Triple 6, Don rolls 'No Hand'. In this scenario the payouts are as follows:
-Alice, Bob, and Don each pay Carol a total of 2 antes due to the payout schedule (lose to Triple 6)
-Net change in antes: Alice/-2, Bob/-2, Carol/+6, Don/-2
Rules:
There are a total of 12 Rounds, with 4 hands per level
Players start with $150
The ante structure looks like this:
Lv.1: $5
Lv.2: $10
Lv.3: $20
(Game Ends after Lv.3)
So an ante in Lv.1 is worth $5, and so on.
Scoring:
When a player hits $0 or less, he/she may no longer continue playing and will be ranked for payout purposes. Negative scores are possible in this game. If one player remains, the game ends and all players are immediately ranked from most ‘$’ to most debt.
Gameplay:
Each Round is divided into two 24h phases, Rolling and Accusation. When Rolling, you PM the Dealer and ask him to Roll the dice on your behalf. At the end of the Rolling phase, the Dealer will announce everyone’s results at once and calculate everyone’s tentative payout. Inactive players roll No Hands.
Now, this game would just be normal Cee-lo if we rolled and let lady luck decide everything; I mean, we DID title the game RIGGED Cee-lo. So here’s where it gets interesting: instead of PMing the Dealer and asking him to roll your dice, you can ask him to Rig the result. When you Rig your result, tell the Dealer exactly how you rolled your dice. An example looks like this: “I Rig my roll to 5-5-6 (Point 6)”
If a player rigged their dice during the Rolling Phase to something other than "No Hand", they can PM the dealer during the Accusation Phase to Fly Under the Radar. If that cheater isn't accused, that cheater successfully Flies Under the Radar and steals one ante from each player. If a player who rigged his dice does not do this and isn't accused, they will not steal one ante from each player, but they will also not be revealed as a cheater for that round.
After the Rolling Phase, we begin the Accusation phase. Players have 24h to send in a PM to the Dealer saying that someone was Rigging his/her dice roll. If you wish to do nothing, you do not have to send in a PM. You can accuse multiple players. After the Accusation phase ends, the Dealer will announce who accused whom and the resulting payout.
Here is the list of possible outcomes from an accusation:
--Accuser has a valid claim: Justice is served! Accuser receives 2 antes from Defendant AND the Defendant’s roll becomes ‘No Hand’
--Accuser has an invalid claim: You no-good troublemaker! Accuser pays 3 antes to Defendant AND the Accuser’s roll becomes ‘No Hand’
--Two cheaters accuse each other: Takes one to know one! Both pay 3 antes to the LGT and their rolls become ‘No Hand’
By the way, these claims can stack. Here’s a sample situation: Honest Player A with 4-5-6 accuses Cheater with 5-5-5 and Honest Player B with 1-2-3, and Cheater accuses Honest Player. Honest Player A gets (2 antes--valid accusation vs. Cheater + 3 antes--Cheater’s invalid accusation vs. Honest Player A – 3 antes--invalid accusation vs. Honest Player B – 2 antes--lose with No Hand vs. 1-2-3) = gain 5 antes total from the Cheater and lose 5 antes to Honest Player B for a net change of 0 antes (2+3-3-2).
Now, let’s look at a Round colored with cheaters.
Example:
Alice rolls Point 6, Bob rolls 1-2-3, Carol rolls Triple 6, Don rolls 'No Hand'. This time, though, Carol and Alice cheated; Bob and Don accuse Carol, Don also accuses Alice
-Carol pays 2 antes each to Bob and Don; Carol now has 'No Hand'
-Alice pays 2 antes to Don; Alice now has 'No Hand'
-Bob now has the best hand and receives another 2 antes each from the three other players due to the payout schedule (win with 1-2-3)
-Net change in antes: Alice/-4, Bob/+8, Carol/-6, Don/+2
Feel free to ask any questions, or go ahead and register!
Tips (as in, obvious stuff):
1) Some probabilities you should keep in mind if you’re playing with luck (per roll):
1-2-3 or better: 18/216 = 8.33%
--Triple: 6/216 = 2.78%
--4-5-6 or 1-2-3: 12/216 = 5.56%
Points: 90/216 = 41.67%
No Hand: 108/216 = 50%
2) Like anything involving probability, variance can happen.
3) If you make a bad accusation, don't run for it.
4) I'd like to thank Alydar for his help!

Q: Can I make decisions ahead of time by PMing you the round and the decision?
A: Yes, you may. This will not lock in your decision for that round, as you can still change it until the end of that round. So if you want to put a plan in action ahead of time, go ahead. You can always change it as needed.
