Liar Game will be running this game.
Okay, I know that two games are already running, but hey, it isn't like you have to put much effort into silver plaything, and this is the last game I'm going to put up until another one ends, I swear it!
Okay, first let me define the rules...
The up-to-date rules are at this link. Please refer to them as they are the official rules.
GAME SETUP:
Each player is dealt 2(x-1) cards, where x is the number of players. (This comes from a normal deck, with one joker, if more than 5 players sign up, then another deck with one joker is added, in the case of more than 11 players, (Unlikely, I know) then another deck with 1 joker is added.)
GAME PLAY:
During a 48 hour period, each player declares a card and a 'claim', (Check 'claims' below) the card is revealed at the end of the 48 hours, along with the claim that goes with it. Then, during a 72 hour period each player will try and figure out if players are lying or not, and vote either true or false on each claim. (In the event that a player does not declare a card and a claim, no claim is put out for them, thus they have no chance to gain cards that round. In the event that a player does not vote on a claim, then it is assumed that he got the claim wrong, and therefore must give a card to that player.) Then it is revealed whether each card is true or false. During the next 24 hours, each player gives to the players that they incorrectly guessed the claim of (or just forgot to vote on at all) a card out of their hand, (In the event when no card is specified, a random one is selected by the person running the game.) and each player returns the card they made a claim with to their hand. (You can give the card you made the claim with to another player as one of the cards that you need to give.)
Then it starts from the beginning again, except that the first round is always 24 hours instead of 48 after the first time it goes through. This goes on until either it has looped 5 times, or all but 2 players are on 1 or less cards.
A player with 1 or less cards cannot make a claim, and in the event where he has one card, he declares that card and is officially out of the game.
In the event that you made more incorrect guesses than the amount of cards in your hand + the cards you would receive that round, you do not give or receive cards that round. All the cards in your hand at that point in time are out of the game, as are you.
CLAIMS:[/u]
When you put a card down on your turn, you make a 'claim' about it, the following are legitimate claims:
That it is the 'highest card in your hand', 'second highest', 'third highest' etc.
That it is the 'lowest card in your hand', 'second lowest', 'third lowest' etc.
The above two about a certain suit. (Highest in clubs, second lowest in diamonds etc.)
The only one in your hand of a particular suit.
Hearts are greater than diamonds, which are greater than clubs, which are greater than spades.
Aces are both higher and lower than all other cards.
(Example:
Hand: 2 of spades, 5 of diamonds, 9 of clubs, ace of hearts.
True claims about the last card would be highest card, only of the suit, highest of the suit, lowest of the suit.)
The joker is both above and below the aces. All suit claims with the joker are immediately false.
If your claim says XXth HIGHEST card (whether in total or of a suit), ALL of your variable cards are considered HIGH. If your claim says XXth LOWEST card (whether in total or of a suit), ALL of your variable cards are considered LOW.
If you have multiples of a card then it's treated as if the multiples aren't in your hand when you make a claim.
WINNING:
At the end of the game, the player with the most cards in hand win. That player wins 5 poker chips. In the event of a two-way tie, the winners each win 2 poker chips. In the event of a three-way tie, the winners each win 1 poker chip.[/s]
