A number of gamblers sit around a small table, telling Alydar to move a small Silver Plaything in circles as he joyously collects all of their coins for boring him. Others wander throughout the now abandoned building, searching for some entertainment, something to pass the time.... When Freih jumps up from his seat at the table and announces a self-developed game! As he finishes explaining the rules, another chair squeaks loudly at being pushed back. Cyrus rises slowly and says "Well, I'd hoped to wait until this was closer to being finished, but if we're announcing our own games, I might as well go ahead and throw mine into the mix as well. I had hoped to find a suitable mask to wear while dealing in between rounds here, but oh well.... There's time yet. But all that mask business aside, the game is called Band of Thieves."

Band of Thieves
Players: This game requires at least 5 players. While that number is flexible, this is definitely a game that wants as many players as it can get. If, by some miracle, more than 7 people sign up, there will be two groups, divided randomly.
Setup: Players will be seated in a random order around a circular table and lent 100,000,000 Yen, which will, of course, have to be paid back at the conclusion of the game.
Play: Each Round is functionally identical with the only change being which of the players is the Active Player (AP). In a given round, the Non-Active Players (NAP) can attempt to Steal, Defend or Wait, pertaining to the AP. To do so, they must PM the Dealer with their decision as well as an amount of Yen not exceeding 10,000,000, should they choose to Attack or Defend. The AP makes a similar decision, except that they choose to Steal from, Defend against, or Wait for all of the NAP.
Should a player, Active or Non-Active, choose to Defend, they must provide a collateral equal to half of the amount of their Defend action to the dealer. If they are unable to provide the collateral, they are counted as inactive and their action is defaulted to a Wait that does not collect collateral. If the Defense action is successful, the collateral is returned to the player. Otherwise, it goes to whoever the player failed to Defend against. The exception is that the AP only needs to successfully Defend against one NAP to not have to pay collateral to any of the NAPs, regardless of their individual interactions. However, if the AP chooses Defend, and does not successfully Defend against any of the NAPs, they pay their collateral to each of the NAPs.
The interactions between each option for both AP and NAP is listed in this handy chart!
If any player reaches 0 Yen, they are immediately eliminated from the game. The game lasts until each remaining player has taken 3 turns as the AP. Then, the initial 100,000,000 Yen is collected and players are ranked based on their final Yen amounts.
The first Cycle of the table will have Rounds that last 48 hours. The second and third Cycle of the table will have 24 hour Rounds.

"Ahem." Cyrus clears his throat, now somewhat dry after speaking for so long (and describing a table, no less!), but presses on nonetheless. "So, that's that. Any questions? Any takers? Well, I'll be here for a while yet, so just let me know if you need anything." He turns back to the table, looks at Alydar and says, "Now, about that mask...." before trailing off at the look on Alydar's face and deciding to just wait for the next break in the action to go searching for one.

Col: AP, Row: NAP | Attack | Defend | Wait |
Attack | The player who Attacked for the smallest value takes that amount from the other player, who receives nothing. | If the Defense is greater than or equal to the Attack, the AP wins the amount of the Attack from the NAP. In addition, the AP no longer has to pay collateral to any NAP this turn. Otherwise, the NAP takes the amount of the Attack from the AP. | The NAP takes the amount of the Attack from the AP. |
Defend | If the Defense is greater than or equal to the Attack, the NAP wins the amount of the Attack from the AP. Otherwise, the AP takes the amount of the Attack from the AP, plus the collateral, which is half of the Defense. | Each pays collateral to the other, assuming the AP did not successfully defend. No matter what, the NAP must pay collateral. | The NAP forfeits their collateral to the AP. |
Wait | The AP takes the amount of the Attack from the NAP. | The AP pays collateral to the NAP, unless they succeeded in their Defense against another NAP. | Nothing happens. |
