There's no turning brack from that, Cyrus. You just doomed us. THERE IS NO ESCAPE NOW.

Hey, punk, don't double post. That ranks right up there with "I is cat" Oh! And it looks like we have a new gambler here, too! Hopefully Moritaka will be willing to play DC; the more the merrier, after all! Where are you people coming from? Even if he never posts or plays, he's breaking the one-new-member-a-year policy

Where are you people coming from? Even if he never posts or plays, he's breaking the one-new-member-a-year policy And by the name of that policy, you've all broken it. Congratulations. As ShadowFire is now the only applicable member until next year, I'm going to have to award the shiny gold trophy of winning awesomeness to him.

I'm gonna be honest, looking through some of the archives, I about did a spit take when I read "I is cat."
I do hope Moritaka plays. That way, I won't have to be the new guy. I'm now a veteran player, alright? We're gonna convince him.

If Moritaka does play that is, and so far he hasn't signed up. He has 2 days to sign up to make Directionally Challenged a 5 player game instead of a 4 player one. Good luck! (Also, that stuff you said in the post above? Definitely not self-incriminating. He'll definitely think you're a veteran now! ) AND lookie here at the Sample Game I constructed for Directionally Challenged! It only shows a 4-player game, and by no means is it representative of a perfect game for any one player, but it should give you all an idea of how the game will work when it eventually is played (the 5th!). But that outcome is, sadly, very unlikely. But who knows? Maybe one of you will have an overwhelming victory? The game is yet to be played, and many things can still happen...

Well, I would've been fine thanks to the ever handy edit/delete functions, but I can't edit/delete your stuff, so the whole "self-incriminating" thing is kinda a pretty big nail in my coffin. Either way, though, I'm not the new guy any more.
On an unrelated note, what are the dealer trophies? How do you folks earn your stars? Did I just miss that thread somewhere?

We earn stars just by existing. Our 5 red stars (equaling 100 each of your pathetic green stars) come with the position. We had to sit through lectures, show our skills, and battle the other wanna-be dealers in a grueling process before finally earning the right to be called LGT Dealers. Okay, in all seriousness, it's just a nice way to differentiate between dealers and players. It's a tradition that's held true since the beginning of LGT at proboards (see the Carousel and LGT2). But we are awesome like that, and each dealer has indeed gone through the process of creating, running, playing, and reviewing games. It's a long and hard process, and we deserve our 500 stars for it, thank you very much! Okay, I guess that wasn't all serious.

10 poker chips says he leaves in <2 weeks. But welcome anyway. 10k, it's been 50 weeks since I won this bet and you still haven't paid up. Does anyone know what we do now? Is there some sort of standard interest rate? Alydar seems to have left, so we can't ask him....
