Since this is a Casino, I figured this would be a fair and obvious topic. Anybody gamble for fun? For money? What kinds of games? Is poker gambling, or psychology: the game?
Let's hear some thoughts!

I don't gamble at all outside of LGT I joined because I love psychological experimenting and strategy haha

Similar. I don't think any of my mates would be into it.
But, since I've been dealing, I have looked into it. At the very least, at a pro level, poker is maths: the maths. With some maths on the side. So... I'm kinda wondering about getting into that. I think mahjong might be the same, so I'm talking to Leronira/Aldaniti/fkmtkrazy about his mahjong days. (For those who don't know, the guy who started LGT1, Leronira, is also Aldaniti from LGT2, and is the founder of the team translating majority of the Fukumoto-written mangas.)

I'm no pro, but from my experience, community-card games and multi-round bets like Texas Hold'em do a lot of math, while something like 5-card draw relies a lot on psychology. And if you play the more popular variants, you could do a good job making a living eating fish. tl;dr: If you can compare ratios and read people (without becoming read yourself), poker is easy. (For those who don't know, the guy who started LGT1, Leronira, is also Aldaniti from LGT2, and is the founder of the team translating majority of the Fukumoto-written mangas.) Which is to say, a lot of us. I guess we all owe him a thank-you.

Oh, as another thing for him, Lero brought me here, so without him, you wouldn't even have the Casino at all! ...of course, there'd still be LGT3 that's coming up, but now you have more to do!
