Ask any questions about the rules of the Slot Machine game here or in confessionals. Questions for an attendant, about the conditions, or about the machine description should be asked in their respective threads.

This is going to sound horribly stupid, but where do I post to pull one of the two levers? Do I post in that attendant's thread?

If you wish to push, pull, say, or do anything, please do so in the... wait a second, that wasn't a stupid question. I forgot to include a very important board: the one where you actually spin the Slot Machine! Let me add that quickly! Okay! Post in this thread to do things with/regarding the Slot Machine, such as spinning it! Sorry about that...

Can we transfer the gold tokens we win to other players?

No. Just like in other games for the Casino, you may not transfer gold tokens. But that's the point of the small payout! For small payouts when you don't want to take everything!

Can we spin the slot machine in multiple succession instead of waiting for the results per spin?

You may if you wish to. But it will still cost 5 silver tokens per spin.

Does a hidden mechanism which has been found is considered a "hidden" mechanism for question-asking purposes, or does it count as a "revealed" mechanism?

Does a hidden mechanism which has been found is considered a "hidden" mechanism for question-asking purposes, or does it count as a "revealed" mechanism? If you talk about "revealed" mechanisms, you are only talking about hidden mechanisms that were hidden but are now found. If you are talking about "hidden" mechanisms, you are talking about all hidden mechanisms, found or unfound. If you are talking about "currently hidden" mechanisms, you are only talking about the hidden mechanisms yet to be found, as of the time the question is asked.

If a completely specific and doable action is done, but the result depends on details not specified in the post, what do you do? Example: A large payout happens if all the knobs are turned east when I spin the Slot Machine. If I say that I spin the machine, without saying anything about the knobs, how do you determine their positions?

Example: A large payout happens if all the knobs are turned east when I spin the Slot Machine. If I say that I spin the machine, without saying anything about the knobs, how do you determine their positions? If something is required to get a payout from spinning the Slot Machine, you must do all of those things in the same post in which you spin the Slot Machine. If there is some order to which those things must be done, they must be done in exactly that order with nothing in between, ending with spinning the Slot Machine. The rest of your question should be answered in the miscellaneous thoughts below.
A note on levers:Once you pull them, they swing back to their original position. They can only be pulled one way. Likewise, buttons can just be pushed, they can't be pulled or permanently depressed. Knobs can be turned any amount to any position, though the only marked ones are "North" "East" "West" and "South." Once left alone, an attendant returns them all to the "North" position (their default position). So basically, after each post, the Slot Machine is returned to its default position.

Thanks... Then, I would assume, if I spin the Slot Machine and never push any reel stoppers, an attendant would come and push them for me to return the machine in its original state? Also, I assume any actions that don't end, like "I put my finger so that nobody could insert coins and leave it there" would be forcefully ended...

Ah, yes, what if I insert 5 coins and then don't spin the machine?

Ah, yes, what if I insert 5 coins and then don't spin the machine? If you insert 5 tokens and then don't specify that you spin the Slot Machine... I'll PM you to ask if you meant to spin the Slot Machine. If you respond "Yes," it will be assumed that you spin the Slot Machine, doing whatever you did in the post (which may just be inserting the tokens). If you respond "No," an Attendant will use a special key to work the coin return and get you your silver tokens back (which doesn't quite matter at this point). Similarly, if you insert, say, 10 tokens and only spin the Slot Machine once, the same procedure will happen. And if you insert some amount of tokens not divisible by 5, the remainder will be coin-returned to you.
