Iain7 Has Lost! (to the tune of Wicked's The Wizard and I)
Alydar:
Oh, great goodness.
Many rounds I have waited,
For this moment here to occur.
Why, I remember that Iain
Could make this game,
His own, that I'm sure!
Oh dear, oh dear.
See he's won this round as well,
Watch him over turn those cards.
With his luck and such skill, oh,
Oh, dear, wha- what were the odds.
That that's the pair, his cost,
Has he really lost?
{Name withheld}: ('Cuz that would be telling. )
Did that really just happen?
Have I actually understood?
Iain7 who won, sudd'nly one by one,
Turned his own, how could-
Were they both Iain7?
The pair, his last.
He's really lost...
Rid now of Iain7,
Here comes my chance,
Surpassing that Iain7,
Make an ending to this... this dance.
And with all his lucky sevens,
By his odds, he has been slighted,
Do you think he really was... dumb?
After all this time he's fight-ed?
No! It must be a trick, that's all that this is.
Something that I've planned, it's been tossed.
As such I will go win:
Iain7 has lost!
Yes, rid of Iain7,
This whole game will change.
'Cuz without that Iain7,
A new winner's arranged,
Nobody can now challenge me,
My victory's assured!
And everyone will follow suit,
And with two more pairs so cured,
Of the cost of this game,
We had to pay,
In everything they've been bossed...
Now that what's done is done,
Iain7 has lost!
And one day, they'll say to me, "{Name withheld},
One who is so superior,
Couldn't you just give us one more chip,
It would be so more clear you're,
With such an awefully largest sum,
Paying our debts off, one by one,
You'd be the best one can do.
We'd all, exemplify you!"
And though, of course,
That's good and all.
"That's not enough," I'll accost.
Oh, they will take the fall,
Iain7 has lost;
Yes, they will take the fall,
Iain7 has -
Wait, can this be?
The future- how can this be?
Was that just a vision,
Almost like- no it can't be.
I know - you won't believe me.
And sure, it's kind of crazy,
Recollect, this memory,
A winner lauded near and far,
Could it even... be me?
I'll be, up there with Iain7,
Rolling in all of these points,
And though you may think so,
Winning couldn't be... joint?
And so we shall see,
How this game all plays out,
For I'll win everything,
That I will.
To me, they all will bow,
The greatest winner, they'll ask how,
And I'll respond it's all 'cuz now,
Iain7... has lost!!!
(I know there's not supposed to be a song here, but after winning the last game, Iain7 deserves it. So here it is! We've got two more song-rounds left! Stay tuned!)
(That and... as soon as I saw the numbers, the first two lines of Elphaba's part ran through my head. It just had to happen. )
