You should probably get the consent of the other two players then.

If all three of you want to do it that way, then that's fine by me. I just need confirmation from Shagura and Alydar.

I should be okay with that. It shouldn't make too much of a difference... what with how poorly I've been playing. But if we were to do this, should the "deadline" for decisions change?

Here's how I propose: The game continues as it has been going up until now. However, in addition to Shoot/Pass we can tell Cyrus when you shoot (at shot 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or never). You can only choose Shoot or Pass if you have the gun, but you can decide when to shoot even if you don't have the gun at the time of the PM. Then, if it has been selected, Cyrus can process your moves automatically.
Example: New chamber in game Freih vs Shagura, Freih has the gun first. Freih PMs Cyrus: "I pass in the game with Shagura." Shagura PMs Cyrus: "I never shoot in this chamber with Freih"; Cyrus posts in the thread: "Freih passes the gun to Shagura, tossing $2 in the pot. Shagura returns it without shooting." Freih PMs to Cyrus: "I shoot at shot 5 in the game with Shagura". Cyrus posts in the thread: "Freih and Shagura both pass one time, after which Freih chooses to shoot."
Of course, players also may post in the thread, I just didn't mention those posts.

Whatever deadlines you three want are fine with me; I'm not the one who has to make decisions here, I just report yours. If someone PMs me an invalid choice (ie. Freih, in his example above, tells me that he is going to shoot on shot 4) I imagine I'd just tell them their move is invalid, with no extended deadline (though we've been pretty lenient with deadlines, so it's basically a moot point).

No need to change deadlines at all. I may sometimes need more than 24 hours to decide when to shoot, but in that case I'll simply buy time by simply saying pass.

I think I'm ok with it too.

Alright. Then the current round of each game will continue under the original rules. Please post decisions in the threads as well as PMing them to me as usual. Beginning with the next round for each game (FvS 13, SvA 9, and AvF 9) you will instead PM me 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, or Never within 48 hours from my original post(While Freih thinks that 24 should be sufficient, and I would be pleased if you got your moves in according to the original schedule, I don't want anyone to inactive due to a rules change). If the first round with the new rules proceeds without mistakes, I will probably cut the period to the original 24 hours, assuming no one objects. You may post whatever you wish in the threads themselves, but I will only count PMs as official moves.

I never said 24 hours would be sufficient, Cyrus. You must have misread something. What I said is that if they are not, I can buy time by saying pass as per the current rules.

Right. I was going to say the same thing. We're basically keeping everything as is, but this is something to potentially speed things up. Like finalizing. Think of it as finalizing decisions in advance! So if someone sends in that they'll pass the entire round, then whenever it comes to their turn, they'll pass immediately, and it will return to the other player. If they say that they'll shoot at a certain number, they'll keep passing until it's their turn at that number, at which point they'll shoot immediately. If both people are giving their decisions in advance, the game can be sped up greatly. If not, we're just going at the same pace we already are...

*looks without signing in* *is confused, since definitely looked a few hours ago* *realizes didn't sign in...* *facepalms* I generally look at the site pretty often, but I'm too lazy to actually sign in. *goes back to deliberating on how much to delay this round and whether or not to shoot*

Sorry about this, guys. There was a huge storm and we only just got power back last night.
Edit: I guess you guys signing in as guests would help explain the huge number of guests I see on here, generally around when I update. For example, as of this writing, it says there are 25 guests online, which seems a lot for this sleepy little casino.

No, we just have a lot of lurkers, for some reason. They may be old dealers/players (I know Forli pops his head in every now and then), or they could be proboards people checking around forums. People may have different computers or different IPs that they sign in, as well. But there are very probably some people who came across the forum and feel like looking around, even if they don't feel like signing up! I mean, our new recruits had to come from somewhere, right?

Well, I'm sure they'll leave in droves once this game finishes. # of lurkers seems to depend on activity.
