This game will be run by Barbaro
Well.... I was bored, and I've never actually got the chance to run this game, maybe because it kills quickly, maybe for other reasons...
Anyway, the game works kinda like this....
Start:[/u]
At the beginning of the game you get 8 gold tokens, which, as of this moment, don't represent anything.
Although, should you run out of gold tokens, you lose the game.
The 'silver plaything' is put in the centre of the 'grid'
(I.E.
)
Play:[/u]
This game, like most games, takes turns in 'rounds' (each lasting 24 hours?), in which all the players are supposed to send in an action, there are four different actions you can send in in this game, those being up, down, left and right. (If you don't send an action in, you immediately lose 1 gold token plus the maximum number of tokens that a player lost (we don't want inactivity to be potentially profitable... :)
Now, once the actions have been sent in, I check the number of ups compared to downs, then, say if there's 1 more up than down, I would move the 'silver plaything' up 1 square. Now say if there was 3 more ups than downs, it can only move 2 spaces upwards, right? Of course right. That extra space that cannot happen would knock 1 gold token off every person who picked up, and add 1 gold token to everyone who picked down. Now let's look at an example where there are 5 more ups than downs, in this case scenario, there would be 3 extra moves it can't do, which would knock 3 gold tokens off everyone who picked up, and give 3 to everyone who picked down, If there where 5 more downs than downs, up and down's roles would just be reversed.
Now we get to left and right, which, in essence, is just like up and down, except that it can be happening at exactly the same time, Example: There is 3 more ups than downs, there is 4 more lefts than rights, the 'silver plaything' 'bumps' against left wall twice, everyone who picked left loses 2 gold tokens, everyone who picked right gains 2 gold tokens, it 'bumps' against the top wall once, everyone who picked up loses a gold token, and everyone who picked down gains 1.
Now, once that has resolved, the 'silver plaything' remains where it was pushed to at the end of the round.
If Three straight rounds go without the 'silver plaything' 'bumping' against a wall, each player loses 2 gold tokens.
Important Note:If it 'bumps' against a wall, then more tokens are lost than are gained.
When 2 or less people are left, the game ends. Those people are the winners and each wins 5 Poker Chips! If there are 0 people left at that time, no one wins! (I know it says below that it's redone, but it's up to you to make sure there's a winner, if you want Poker Chips!)
Scores are shown after each round. Not only are the number of people who voted for each direction revealed, but the names of the people who voted each direction are also revealed at the end of each round. Thus, the number of tokens that each player has can be easily calculated! (If Barbaro wants to keep it public and updated, it's up to him, but it's not needed.)
Players:
Iain7
Perlamonta
10k
Kokuryu
Komatsu Tatsuya
Alydar
ShadowFire
I'm pretty sure that I didn't make that too long winded, so everyone should understand that effectively...
I say that there should be at least 5 players in order to start this game, preferably more.
(Edits in gray by Alydar. Correct me if anything's wrong!)
